I found this book a very interesting read. The most important aspect of the text is the wide ranging perceptions and ideologies of so many people in the world. I feel that as we try to understand the psychological make-up of the world and the decisions that we have made through the centuries then this id definitely the book to help assist in the review of the decisions that we have made.The book was part of my ethics class and the class interaction with regards to the text was probably the most important part of the entire course. I would encourage all readers work through the questions and worksheets at the end of each chapter. It just helps clarify your thoughts and understanding of the work that is discussed in each chapter.

Whenever I study a text about ethics I expect to hear that religion should not be the only basis for having good moral or ethics. Thiroux and Krasemann were no exception While I disagree with this opinion the authors did make a case that all can and should have ethical training and that it should be in the home as a start but should also come from our educators. Well written. If you're religious don't be offended. I wasn't. The book was delivered on time and in good shape
This text book was easy to read with short concise chapters that did not drone on about the subject. It was fair and neither political in one way or another. Gave insight to ethics and what the real meaning is and how we use ethics in our society today and in the past.
Needed it for school

The book came quickly. In regard to the chapters itself, they are easy to read and understand. The book goes into the history of ethics, which is not my favorite subject, but it does help me to understand ethics much easier.
There are two things to consider with a textbook of this sort how thoroughly does it cover the material, and how well does it manage to communicate that material to the reader? This book succeeds gloriously on both counts. Obviously, if the subject of Philosophy in general and Ethics in particular don't interest you, you won't enjoy this book. But if you have an interest in the subject, and need a basic intro to it, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better one.
Just as described. Had to have this for a college class. Well worth the price compared to anywhere else! In very good condition!
